Heydar Aliyev Center

Zaha Hadid’s new state-of-the-art cultural center is a pearl of global modern architecture. This beautiful, gleaming white structure appears to hover above the city, and carries elements of both Eastern and Western principles of art and design. The building is located in a public plaza, the ground of which rises up to form the building's wave-like shell. Inagurated in 2012, the Center contains exhibition spaces, a library, a museum and concert venues.

The grand opening of the IAPH Baku 2018 will be held in this futuristic state-of-the-art building.
